A pleasant afternoon.

I have just returned from a really enjoyable afternoon. It was the first W.I. meeting since the Christams party. About 6 weeks have elapsed since meeting friends and we lost no time in 'catching up.' This meeting is the one where our subscriptions are due so once the finances were finished and the business papers read we settled down to an entertaining talk.
Given by a gentleman who seems to have spent his life involved in coincidences. It was quite fascinating to hear how his life's path had been influenced by names of places and people beginning with the letter 'B'. Now this might seem quite random but hearing of links between Barnard Castle, Bill Bryson and even Buenos Aires was intriguing.
I can't say my own life has such markers but I did visit a farm as a child and years later I married the farmer's great nephew(who often visited the same farm!)
