Neglecting my blog...

It is quite a few days since posting, neglecting my blog is not something I normally do but this last week has been trying.
I know many people have great trials and crosses to bear and what I am about to write is going to sound trivial to some and for this I apologise.
My dear cat Mog, has been to see the vet. Her tummy is all distended. After careful examinations we have some worming preparations to give her. But the vet is not sure what is the matter ---- ? liver failure, but she does not have all the classical symptoms. Her swollen tummy is the only thing the matter, no pain, no jaundice, no vomiting, no heart or lung failure. She eats and sleeps well and although in her senior years(10) she still manages to play .
If her condition worsens or there is no improvement by next week we need to revisit the vet.
She has always been a very gentle and loving cat, if the end is nigh she will be sorely missed!! WE ALL LOVE HER!!!
Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see her.

Poor Mog....she's such a pretty little thing. Here's hoping the medication does the trick for her and it's just a bad case of worms.

xx

Tending to our sick pets is never trivial. Sending you cyber hugs and prayers that all will be ok

I'm so sorry about Mog and hope she improves very soon. It's so distressing when a pet is ill and they leave a big hole when they're not with us!

My dog had a few weeks where the vet didn't know what was wrong with him but he was obviously in pain and I was a basket case the whole time. Not knowing is very stressful. Max came through it all okay after a few weeks of antibiotics and I hope Mog recovers as well :)

We have been through this twice with our two Siamese cats. One had liver failure and the other had cancer. Never easy and never trivial to the owner. Mog being only 10 could well recover of course. Hope so for your sake.

I don't have an advice for your kitty, but I hope she gets better!
