Busy Day.

Today has been very busy. We stacked most of our hay bales, the rest can wait till tomorrow. I also washed a pair of curtains from the sitting room. So they were washed, dried and hung back up in between the stacking. It was good to get it all done and before 9pm. As 9pm. on Mondays means 'New Tricks' I love this programme. Do any other bloggers watch it?

Monday is the Gadget Show and then Dragon's Den! Hubby isn't a drama type of person...having said that i think I bring enough Drama into the Nesbitt household! LOL!

Amy's Quilt Festival.

Over at Amy's blog there is an online quilt festival starting today and running for a week. As I have only ever made one quilt I don't have a lot of choice but as no judging takes place I thought I'd participate. Apologies to those who have already read the details of the quilt in an earlier post but I need to chronicle the it's making for the festival. It was about 2-3 years in the planning , as I was such a coward I really didn't know where to begin. The idea for the quilt was a request from my youngest daughter and not wishing to disappoint I immediately agreed. The material was duly bought and about 2 squares were sewn and that was it for at least a year!!! Booking through Thursday

This is this week's discussion We’ve all seen the lists, we’ve all thought, “I should really read that someday,” but for all of us, there are still books on “The List” that we haven’t actually gotten around to reading. Even though we know they’re fabulous. Even though we know that we’ll like them. Or that we’ll learn from them. Or just that they’re supposed to be worthy. We just … haven’t gotten around to them yet. What’s the best book that YOU haven’t read yet? I think this week's discussion could be closely related to my last post concerning the Daily Telegraph article on reading habits.
