Patience -------- what's that?

I've been waiting for my library to obtain the new C.J. Sansom's book 'Revelation' . It's been on order for a few weeks, even though the publish date was only 2 weeks ago. Now I say 'only' but I have no patience when waiting for books . So,I'm waiting no longer and I've bought it. Margaret on 'Books Please' (see Places I like to visit) gave it a great review and that cinched it for me. Thankyou Margaret!

The other book on the photo is 'Jane Boleyn, The Infamous Lady Rochford,' by Julia Fox. This looks very interesting . It follows the life of Anne Boleyn's sister-in-law.It is added to my 'to be read' list.

Thanks for the 'plug'. I do hope you enjoy Revelation as much as I did. I must look for the Jane Boleyn book. Have you read Philippa Gregory's The Other Boleyn Girl, about Anne's sister?

Hi Books please, I haven't read 'The Other Boleyn Girl' but I have read a couple of Philippa Gregory's books, the last one was 'The Boleyn Inheritance' which included Jane Boleyn. That was good, if you are interested there is a P.G. website discussing her books and historical fiction in general. http://www.philippagregory.com/
She has a book about Mary Queen of Scots out later in the year, can't wait. Oh I must control myself lol!

I am *dying* to get my hands on "Revelation"!! And the other looks great, too. I'll be interested to see what you think of them both!
